At Sunrise House, we understand that every youth faces unique challenges. That’s why we offer a range of programs designed to meet their diverse needs. From providing emergency shelter to fostering family reconnections and preparing for independent living, our services empower youth aged 12-17 to navigate crisis and build brighter futures.
Each of our programs is built on a foundation of compassion, safety, and a commitment to long-term stability.
Open 24/7, our emergency shelter offers a safe, judgment-free space for youth aged 12-17 in crisis. Upon arrival, youth receive basic necessities like food, clothing, and a place to rest. Case managers work closely with each individual to create personalized plans that address immediate needs and set the stage for long-term success.
For youth aged 15-24, The Loft provides transitional housing in fully furnished bachelor suites. This program prepares participants for independent living through life skills training in areas like budgeting, cooking, and community engagement.
With an average stay of 6 to 12 months, the Loft offers youth a safe, stable environment as they work toward their goals of self-sufficiency.
Designed for youth aged 12-24, the Kickstand Youth Hub serves as a collaborative space that connects participants with vital resources. Whether it’s mental health counseling, job training, or peer support, the Hub offers a “no wrong door” approach to ensure youth can access the help they need.
Programs include family art nights, LGBTQ+ support groups, employment workshops, and wellness initiatives, creating a welcoming environment for youth of all backgrounds.
Recognizing the importance of family in a young person’s life, this program focuses on rebuilding and strengthening family connections. By addressing communication barriers, offering mediation, and providing ongoing support, we help youth transition from shelter to stable home environments.
Our flexible approach meets families where they are—whether that’s in schools, homes, or community spaces—ensuring comfort and accessibility.
Sunrise House is committed to providing a continuum of care for at-risk youth. Whether they need immediate shelter, support navigating life’s challenges, or help transitioning to independence, our programs are here to guide them toward stability and success.
